Studying Shulchan Aruch from the mouth of the Gaon and Tzaddik, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a - Orach Chaim 1:1

A lesson on the Shulchan Aruch (Code of Jewish Law), Orach Chaim, Chapter 1, Paragraph 1, from yesterday, Wednesday of Parshas Devarim, 6th of Av 5779 (2019), from the mouth of his holy honor, the Gaon and Tzaddik, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a (may he live long and good days). Before opening the Halacha (Jewish law) lesson, the Rav shlit"a announced, "From today, we will learn a paragraph or two in the Shulchan Aruch."
Paragraph 1 - "One should strengthen himself like a lion to arise in the morning for the service of his Creator, so that he is the one who awakens the dawn. Gloss (Rema): And in any case, he should not delay past the time of prayer that the congregation prays (Tur)."
"First of all, one must wake up before 4:00 AM, before Alos HaShachar (dawn). A person needs to be like a lion; in the Tur, it is written 'like a leopard'..."
"A person must remember that every moment he is being filmed, just like nowadays where there is a camera on every corner—this is only a parable for Heaven. In Heaven, they film every movement."
"Gloss (Rema): "I have set Hashem before me always" (Psalms 16:8) is a great principle in the Torah and among the virtues of the Tzaddikim (righteous ones) who walk before G-d. For a person's sitting, movements, and business while he is alone in his house are not like his sitting, movements, and business when he is before a great king; nor is his speech or the way he opens his mouth as he pleases while with his household and relatives like his speech in the presence of the king. How much more so when a person takes to heart that the Great King, the Holy One Blessed Be He (Hashem), whose glory fills the entire earth, stands over him and sees his actions, as it is said: "If a man hides in secret places, will I not see him? says Hashem" (Jeremiah 23:24). Immediately, awe and submission will come upon him out of fear of Hashem, may He be blessed, and he will feel constant shame before Him (Guide for the Perplexed, Part 3, Ch. 52)." "And he should not be ashamed before people who mock him for his service of Hashem, may He be blessed. Also, in walking modestly and when lying on his bed—he should know before Whom he lies. And immediately upon waking from his sleep, he should rise with alacrity for the service of his Creator, may He be blessed and exalted (Tur)."
"It is accepted throughout the world that it is forbidden to sit with one's legs crossed or with hands in pockets; this is a Torah prohibition, as it is pride."
"If a person remembers that every movement of his is being filmed, then he will have shame and fear of Hashem, may He be blessed; he will have submission."
