The Truth Behind the Channel 13 Investigation into Rabbi Berland shlit"a - Part 1

Recently, a report was published—a so-called "investigation" by Channel 13—concerning the influence of the holy and righteous Torah giant, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a (may he live long and good days), on the medical condition of a cancer patient who eventually passed away, of blessed memory.

As is their habit, Channel 13 sought to attack the holy Rabbi shlit"a, using offensive headlines and expressions. Terms like "the Berland cult," "Berland's followers," and so on—they apparently "do not know" that the only correct definition is: "Breslov Chassidim from the 'Shuvu Banim' community, students of the holy and righteous Torah giant, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a."

Thousands of people across the country and the world know the power of the Pidyon Nefesh (redemption of the soul) performed by Rabbi Berland shlit"a. Many have been saved through the blessings of the tzaddik (righteous person); people who returned from clinical death have testified that they saw him sitting in the Heavenly Court and that the Rav was their advocate. However, over there, they do not seek to see all the good that comes from approaching true tzaddikim in general, and Rabbi Berland in particular.

The author of these lines has personally witnessed how the blessing and the Pidyon (redemption) of Rabbi Berland work salvations. Nevertheless, to remove any doubt, we have prepared a true investigation into the greatness of the Pidyon.

This investigation is certainly not exhaustive; we can only speak of what the tzaddikim of previous generations have revealed, and what the multitudes who saw salvations after coming to Rabbi Berland shlit"a testify. The testimonies are numerous; many want to cry out against the lies and show how great an injustice has been committed.
